I’ve been a Boiled Owl customer for six months now, and during that time it’s become the only coffee I brew at home. I’m a regular, avid coffee drinker; and though I’ll drink many types and brands as I’m going about my day, I prefer the depth of flavor I find in Boiled Owl. This winter I’ve enjoyed the holiday blend, particularly, with its notes of pecan and hints of mellow spice. That it’s Chicago-based, locally owned and operated is the biggest reason I proudly drink and support Boiled Owl Coffee. Steven Greenberg, the founder and visionary behind the beans, is also a tremendous human being with a heart as big as his coffee is delicious…really can’t recommend enough that you give it a try.
I get up an hour earlier in the morning… because BOILED OWL is that damned good.
Boiled Owl is meticulously roasted in small batches, and you can truly taste the difference.
The Guatemala roast I bought last week - I am loving it. Flavor is excellent, good kick to it but not over the top jittery jet fuel. And the thing that stands out to me is that it’s not terribly acidic at all which I’m a huge fan of. Super mellow in that regard. Excellent product and we can’t wait to open the other bag.

So far I’ve tried the Ethiopian coffee you got for me and I like it very much. It’s much subtler than I thought it was going to be when I first saw the dark rich color of the beans are. Thanks again.
I’m having my morning coffee — Boiled Owl’s Tanzania roast. It’s great, smooth and rich. Very impressive.
This is my go-to local roast. Every Boiled Owl Coffee roast that I’ve had so far has a lovely balanced flavor profile. Going to try all of them for sure.

By the way, I'm into the Brazilian popcorn roasted peaberry. Very good. Lots of nice notes, but doesn't taste over-roasted.

The Guatemala has become my favorite Boiled Owl coffee; smooth and delicious every time.
I recently began trying Boled Owls' blends which, normally, I am not a fan of. I must say the Cyclone Cellar and Shoemakers' Blends are amazing. I was very surprised because I usually go with single origins. This was a good move because The Owls' blends are very smooth and tasty.
Made some freshly ground Owl this morning. Sooooooo good.
The ethiopian is so deliciously oily . I freaking love it. For some reason we get more out of 16oz of Boiled Owl than we do with other varieties.
Brewed the first pot of Decaf this morning. I’m a regular decaf drinker and it was “smooth” and “drinkable”. It was as good or better than the other premium decaf products I enjoy. A great way to wake up without the jitters.

Just wanted to let you know that I’m having my first cup of Boiled Owl Guatemala at home and man…it’s DELICIOUS!! Freshly roasted, freshly ground, and used the Keurig reusable filter. A little heavy cream & sugar…. Perfectly balanced, mild, and slightly sweet. I think that you just may know what you’re doing here!
